Jet Ski Conesus — Terms of Agreement
At Jet Ski Conesus, our goal is to provide you with an unforgettable experience on the lake. By renting our jet skis, you agree to care for our equipment responsibly.
Responsibility for Damages: You are fully responsible for any damage to the jet ski during your rental period. This includes scratches, dents, or other blemishes. If returned with damage, repair costs will be charged accordingly. We are not responsible for other damages done to property that is not ours.
Age Requirements: You must be 18 years old to operate, and no one under 16 years old is allowed to ride.
Late Arrival Fee: If there are other booked appointments for rental, we cannot extend your rental time. If you are 15+ minutes late, we may charge a fee of $25.
Cleaning Fee: The jet ski must be returned in reasonably clean condition. A cleaning fee will apply if excessive dirt or debris is present.
Proper Use: Riders must remain on the jet ski at all times when on the water, except when properly docked. Switching seats or abandoning the jet ski while afloat is prohibited.
Missing Items: Any equipment or items provided with the jet ski that are lost or missing upon return will result in additional charges.
Fuel Fees: Fuel costs are not included in the rental price and will be charged as an additional fee.
Add-Ons: We offer optional add-ons, such as photography services. These are non-refundable unless canceled due to weather conditions.
Inspection: A full inspection will be conducted upon return. Charges for any damage or missing items will be determined after this inspection.
Lost Key Fee: If the jet ski key is lost, a $600 fee will be charged to cover towing, retrieval, and replacement costs.
ValetPro Option: If you choose our ValetPro service, you must be present for a demonstration and provide a valid ID. Failure to do so will result in a $200 additional fee.
ID Requirements: You must provide a valid ID before your rental. Submitting ID via phone message is allowed but not recommended.
Boaters Licese: By agreeing to this rental, you confirm that you possess a valid boater’s license or safety certificate, if required by New York State law, and that you will carry this certificate with you on the watercraft at all times during your rental period.
Intoxication Policy: Operating a jet ski while intoxicated or impaired is strictly prohibited. If we determine you are impaired, we will immediately notify local authorities and permanently revoke your rental privileges.
Legal Responsibility: Jet Ski Conesus is not responsible for any citations or tickets incurred during your rental period.
Weight Limit: Each jet ski has a maximum weight limit of 600 lbs. Exceeding this limit may cause damage, and repair costs will be charged to you.
All jet ski operators must comply with New York boating laws, including the requirement to hold a boating safety certificate if born on or after January 1, 1996. Beginning January 1, 2025, all motorboat and PWC operators must possess a NYS-approved boating safety certificate. Exceptions exist for livery rentals—Jet Ski Conesus will provide mandatory safety training before launch. For full details, see the New York Boating Safety page from the Department of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation.
To ensure fairness and availability, we require cancellations or changes to be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled reservation.
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the start time are fully refundable.
Changes to your reservation (date/time adjustments) within the 48‑hour window may be accommodated, subject to availability—but are non‑refundable.
Reservations canceled or modified less than 48 hours in advance are final and non‑refundable. We strongly suggest confirming your plans well ahead of time to avoid forfeiture.
By renting from Jet Ski Conesus, you acknowledge and accept these terms and agree to abide by them at all times.
